Unlocking the Biblical Watch – Of Messiah’s Return (Version 13 2019 10 13)
Page 121 Footnote 276 incorrectly calculates the number of days from the beginning of the year to the 17th day of the seventh month (Genesis 8:4) as 30 x 7 + 17 = 227. It should be 30 x 6 + 17 = 197 days. This means that the amount of time from when Noah’s Ark was lifted and when Noah’s Ark rested, was not 180 days. Therefore the association of Noah’s Ark with the lifespan of Isaac is incorrect. This, however, does not alter the premise that Noah’s Ark was a type of Messiah: Noah’s Ark was God’s appointed means of saving the human race (Messiah was appointed for the salvation of anyone who would chose to come in and take refuge). Noah’s Ark was the only means of saving the human race. Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Noah’s Ark took the beating – Messiah took the beating for humanity. Entrance into Noah’s Ark was voluntary – entrance into Messiah is voluntary. Entrance into Noah’s Ark was free – same with salvation as Messiah paid the price.
